Privacy Policy

Last updated — set this date when the policy below is finalized.

Draft, not legal advice. This is a realistic starting draft based on how UnlockLab actually handles data today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be published as your live policy until it has — particularly for GDPR/CCPA applicability if you have EU or California users, and Bangladesh's Data Protection Act requirements.

1. What this covers

This policy applies to the UnlockLab desktop application, the account dashboard at this site, and unlocklab.navicore.co. It's provided by Navicore Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

2. Device diagnostic data

Diagnostic and analysis sessions run locally on your machine. Chipset, partition, and firmware data read from a connected device is not transmitted to Navicore's servers unless you explicitly export or sync a report. Reports you choose to export are stored on your machine unless you separately choose to upload one.

3. Account data

Creating an account collects your name, email address, and a hashed password. We use this to authenticate you, manage license activation, and send account-related email (verification, password reset, billing). We don't sell this data or share it with advertisers.

4. License & activation data

To enforce per-seat licensing we store which machine(s) a license is activated on, using a non-reversible hardware identifier and a timestamp — not device contents.

5. Payment data

Payments are processed by our payment provider directly; Navicore does not store full card numbers. We retain transaction records (amount, date, plan) for accounting and support purposes.

6. Contact form & support

Messages sent through the contact form or support channel are stored so we can respond to you and are retained for support-history purposes.

7. Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period for legal and accounting requirements after closure. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

8. Your rights

You can request a copy of the account data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're legally required to retain.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to the contact address listed on our Contact page.
